Hey, I'm Shannon Buhera.
I've helped over 200 families over the past 5 years transform sleep in their homes.
I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel when nothing seems to work. Before becoming a sleep consultant, I got my degree in Elementary & Special Education and spent 8 years teaching elementary school.
I’ve always been passionate about child development, but my real inspiration came from my daughter. At 2 a.m., during her four-month sleep regression, I was the mom frantically googling, “When does a baby start sleeping through the night?” That moment set me on the path diving deep into sleep science and sleep training and ultimately helping other parents find the best solutions, too.
Today, I live on Johns Island with my husband and our two kids. When I’m not working with families, you’ll usually find me on my laptop at local coffee shops, playing in the sand with my kids on the beach, or sneaking in a yoga class.
Supporting parents through sleep struggles isn’t just my job—it’s personal. I’ve been there, and I know how life-changing it is when your family finally rests.
How it works
Whole Child Changes
[Week One]
I’ll come to your home for a full Sleep Evaluation. From there, I’ll create a personalized Prep & Practice Plan that sets your family up for success—taking into account your child’s sleep environment, routines, nutrition, and family schedule and relationships.
Sleep Training
[Weeks two & three]
We’ll put your personalized Sleep Training Plan into action. I’ll be in your home for up to two evenings, showing you exactly what to do and how to do it (as the parent- you always get the final say). You’ll also get two weeks of virtual text support so we can track progress and troubleshoot if needed.
Long Term Confidence
[after program ends]
You’ll have a Maintain Sleep Plan as a go-to resource for future hurdles and transitions—plus six months of text support, so you never feel stuck or alone. From quick questions, dropping a nap, to travel or new early morning wakes, I got you!

babies
At 3-18 months, I help babies learn to fall asleep independently without needing to be nursed, rocked, or held. Together, we make bedtime routines smoother, stretch out nighttime sleep, reduce or eliminate night feeds, and create longer, more consistent crib naps—so both you and your baby get the rest you need.
toddlers
At 1.5 - 3 years, I help toddlers end bedtime battles and feel secure sleeping in their own room all night long. We solve night wakings, early rises, and tough transitions like moving from crib to bed or resisting naps—so your evenings are calmer and your nights are stress-free.
preschoolers
At 3 - 5 years, I help preschoolers overcome regressions and habits that no longer work for your family—like needing you to stay until they fall asleep, middle of the night wakes, or late bedtimes. Evenings becomes a time to connect, and nights become a time to rest easy.
